Good day everyone,
Just a brief message to introduce myself to the Natural Bushcraft community and let you know another newbie has joined the ranks.
I live in North Devon, and spend a fair bit of time in/on/under Exmoor with my family, dog etc. My kids have always enjoyed Ray Mears, and used to make artic shelters etc at quite a young age. They loved stopping out at night by the glow of a fire, listening to owls hoot and badgers snuffling around, so it was only natural that after a while I should follow in their footsteps!
Hope to hear from or even see some of you guys at an event before too long, seems like a friendly supportive community.
All the best,
Tom Bombadil (Shaun)

Devon's a beautiful place, just a shame they still haven't worked out the proper way to put cream on scones up there! :p
No doubt see you on our adventures one day,

Depends if they're pronounced "SCONES" like stones or "SCONNS" like, well, sconns. With one you put the jam on first then the cream,....or was it the other way around?:confused2:
Anyway -I eat all the rejects!:p

Hello Tom. How are things in Middle Earth? (Devon) Welcome to the forum. :welcome:
Things are fine here in the Shire, Middle Earth, EX999 HOB 1T... apart from them bloomin' pesky ticks, midges and mozzies. What do they live on when they can't get Hobbits?:guns::D:D

I agree with you. Anyway, I reckon a little bit of barking helps keeps you sane... and so does my dog!:D
