Looking at how people see mid-England, I suppose this is in the right place?
Anyone anywhere near me fancy getting out sometime soon? Happy enough to go anywhere within 100 miles or so, so about Manchester, nearly as far as Worcester, wetherby, king's lynne (think that draws a rough radius). Would be good to meet a few new people. Can maybe take 1or2 people where I go but it's not official or anything so hopefully somewhere else?

Starting to sound like a plan! Might have to wait a month or so though as I've gotta build the old brownie points back up a bit!
Anyone know anywhere where the peat wouldn't be a worry?

Hi, i would be interested. have a small group based in hull and we regularly use a woodland near pocklington not far from york, forestry commision land and some private ownership broad leaved woods but it's all open access land so there's no problem wild camping there. plenty of firewood and miles away from the main road. let me know if you fancy a meet.
