I started making this spoon last friday when i went to the woods for the day. I did all the major shaping with my Gransfors Bruks Small Forest Axe, did some smothing with my Mora clipper and carved the bowl with my Mora 164 Crook knife.

This was it in the initial stages of shaping.

Yesterday and today i sanded and oiled the wood aswell as drilling a hole for some cordage.

Sweet! :) Don't be bashful, they're not supposed to look like machine perfect clones. It has character, it works, and most importantly your hands, knives and imagination crafted a stick into a useful tool

All the best
