I'm afayed i dont agree with you on this one Paul, it was the worst thin they did when they band it.Foxes are vermin and there for deserve to be controlled by any means. They are mang riden criters and the number in this county now since the ban is tremendous some nights i can have 3 or more in my garden. As nice as they look at end of the winter see one at the end of the summer when it's flee & tick infested plus mang they are the thing that will bring raybis? to this county and have to be controlled..............

Hey Fellas... Joke ...!
How many Hunt objectors do you know who promote their cause using images of foxes shooting rabbits ?

Hunting foxes just for the sake of hunting foxes is, to my mind, detestable. However, if there are other reasons for hunting foxes then I may agree with those reasons and be willing to tolerate fox hunting.

I've ask the moderators to remove my thread. Whilst it was meant to be humorous, it's perhaps not appropriate in hindsight given the polarized views on the topic and the potential for ambiguity so my apologies for those that are offended.
Paul.

I got it Paul.
Unfortunately, the hasty folk on both sides of the argument for fox hunting may have missed the picture (and also the point/joke) and taken a good whiff of the potential can o' worms you've just opened, and leapt to the keyboard to let off some steam!
Good luck Bud ;)

I am not offended by converse opinions. I am not offended by this thread. ;)

Yeah, I got it too. I'm not going to remove the thread just because some hot heads have had their sense of humour surgically removed. I would hope that they would respect the community and individual members by removing their intemperate contributions before the moderating team have to waste their own time on it.
Paul's original post was not offensive if you took the time to read it.

That fox's scope must have infrared imaging capabilities. Harvey was invisible, wasn't he?
Funny stuff, even to a Yank like me. :D

The urban foxes round here are audacious, mangy, flea-ridden and scabby little creatures. I had a 'staring-out' contest with one the other day in broad daylight in a busy street. I just wish I was allowed to blow the little f****r away. :)

I believe Tony probably just scan read it and didn't see the picture that's all, I've now renamed the thread title with: "(It's a Joke)" on the end and enlarged the image so no one can miss it!
It made me laugh Paul ;D

Thought that for one minute that was Ilfracombe. They have all these signs down the Quay saying "Please do not feed the Shoithawks" and you then watch all the coffin dodging tourists feeding them :)
btw - cracking picture

Reminds me of riding the ferry to Nantucket when I was a kid. Gulls would steal food right out of your hand if you didn't hold it close enough to your body when snacking on deck. There's a lovely beach at a state park here in New York where they swarm the picnic tables if you walk away from your lunch more than 10 ft.

I met a bloke in our village the other day wearing a Davy Crockett style fur hat. I asked him why he was wearing it in spring and he said :
"I was at Lincoln bus station and asked the man for a ticket to North Kyme".
"North Kyme?" the ticket man said......."wear the fox hat ?"
Ba - doom -tsssh!

Fox hunts of the type that involve hounds and hooray Henries are quite rightly banned, like all vermin that have to be controlled there are less barbaric methods of doing this, one method is to capture them live, feed them on port for 24 hours and let 6 of them 'fight' it out in a 'run' with some pompous **** armed only with a trumpet (not that he/she would probably need it-other than to transmit their distress). good post BTW
