Right...
So we all know worms are edible... Has anyone actually done it?
I was thinking about trying it next weekend...was going to boil up a tiny piece of one and try it...and wait for the coming diahoria or vomiting....
Perge them first then give them one final squeeze out from the head end to get any dirt out and fry them there a bit like bacon rind if you know what i mean, id not fancy one boiled unless you dried it and ground it up in a soup have you ever seen a worm thats been in a puddle a couple of days? lol

to purge them do you just give them the old tooth paste tube treatment?
Fried would probably taste better...i just use boil because then you can be sure that it has been sterilised....
i just fill a billy can with nettle leaves and bung them in in the shade for a while till they have emptied their stomach tract, dont take long..then tooth past tube them to get the last bits out... mmmm worms...... Snails are much nicer!!

I remember always having to have lard or butter, rubbed onto any bump to the head. Something to do with stopping the swelling, but thats about it I think LOL
