Hi everyone, my names Andy. I'm a keen bushcrafter and wild camper. I try to get when work and the Mrs permits. I am a real gear junkie but I also like the minimalist approach. This looks like a great forum, I am also a member of the bushcraftuk forum so some may recognise me from there. Look forward to chatting to you all soon.:)

Errrrm, it depends really. There is a fair bit of land around here but alot of the land owners don't like to give permission for camping. Alot of it is in close proximity to inhabited areas aswell so it would be risky to go and avoid getting caught.
I just got permission with my old man to go camping out near St Neots. They said we're allowed to hunt small game with air rifles aswell aslong as we show what we've killed at the end of the day/stay and he doesn't mind if we eat any either aslong as we show the remains.

Sounds good! I am desperatly trying to find somewhere to hunt with mine too. I have a few places in mind but its always hard to find who the land owner is, any tips?

We were only introduced through a third party via work, which was handy.
But for other land owners I guess a nicely written letter asking for permission and a face-to-face would probably do the trick.
