Not sure how I have missed this forum until now, been around BCUK for a couple of years.

A Scot in exile and more a camper than a bushcrafter, but I find the ethos in bushcrafting forums more suited to my ideas of camping than in the camping forums, especially the craft/natural history side of things.

Hi Graham, a very warm welcome to the NaturalBushcraft forum. Sounds like you'll fit right in here. We don't mind what sort of camping/bushcrafting you do, just so long as you enjoy the way you do it. :)

What part of Somerset are you from??

Thanks all, and Martin, I'm just north of Wells and west of Shepton Mallet

Ah, proper Mendip Somerset then. Used to do a lot of caving up there in my younger, slimmer days. ;)

There will be more in here later to say hello, but loads of us have been on a meet in Cornwall this weekend, and I'm sure they're still enjoying the late afternoon sun. :)

Well, only just, proper Mendips, but we are still 600ft up, and yes I know its the Corwall RV weekend. I've tried to go twice and life got in the way both times.
