View Full Version : A one day old foal on spotted on Dartmoor

As Ivan and myself returned from our practice run of the 7 mile moors trek (for the meet at the end of next month), we spotted a day old foal, his sister and his mother, hiding away from the usual routes across the moors.

It is quite unsual that, normally they would move away.

They eventually moved away, but only after a few minutes, so we decided to move away instead, let her have her patch of ground back

No they just live on the moor, Dartmoor ponies. A little like New Forest ponies but a little smaller.
