I went for a wonderful walk with my dog today. The area used to be a gravel pit, but when they were finished it was set aside as a nature reserve. It holds a lot of memories for me as I grew up very close to it. It has really matured over the past few years but there are still small signs of industry about, getting rusty in the undergrowth. If you look closely at one of the photos you can see the remains of an old rail carriage that I remember playing in as a kid when it was intact, all you can see now is the shell rusting into the ground.
Photos can be seen in my blog. http://thesecretcamper.blogspot.com/

Thanks lads, my mate has a gelert solo, and mongoose. He tends to use the mongoose these days though as the solo can be a bit 'snug'. Great little tents that have stood up to some severe british weather on our camps over the years.
