On a visit to Wistman's Wood (http://www.legendarydartmoor.co.uk/wistman.htm) (Dartmoor) I picked up a piece of dead Oak and made a spoon.

The spoon is more ornamental than practical; more of a reminder of that special place steeped in myth and legend, I know the wood is ancient - the original wood that would have covered all of Dartmoor at some stage.
