stubled upon this vid,the chap makes clay pots bushcraft style and theyre really good too!

Im up for it, although do you have to use clay that you find or can you use shop bought stuff?

either i suppose! clay isnt easy to find all over the country.Photo's during the process would be good.

A very skilled and clever man, I wish I had his skills and tenacity, tounge in cheek I'd say he would have been better served by rewarding himself with a smoke from the Hemp family!

Aint never gonna get this coracle made fir bein interupted by spur of the mo, impulsive craftin, egged on by Natural Bushcraft and its users!! :D

A friend of mine makes all sorts of pottery but also experiments with bonfire fired pots in various prehistoric styles. Grogging might improve the finished product, even ground up old pots eg from flower pots.

Got some clay in my back garden - may go and dig some up having seen that video.
