new stove design

hey all,

as some of you will know i have had a good look at some of the stove's available and i couldn't help thinking i could do as well or better at designing my own, and what's more i'm tight and don't like spending money if i can get away with it! so with that in mind i've had a bash, see what you think, your comments are always welcome........they may be ignored, but they are welcome all the same, lol ;)1430

Did you cut all that by hand?! It has a lovely decorative top and the floor looks snazzy too with the different size holes in a star/flower pattern. Nice work.

thanks for your comments chaps, well tooled up i am, i run an industrial water cutter so i can cut anything to any shape, and i do mean anything! leather case made by me to! by hand that one tho!

hadn't thought about selling them to be honest bud, would have to work out how much they cost to make first!! they are made from stainless, 1.5mm thick, so you could drop it off a cliff and it would still work fine i'll wager! this however doesn't make it the lightest choice, honey stove still pips it on that. i was a little concerned that the honey stove was a little delicate for my taste tho, that's why i designed this one, i can actually stand on it if i wanted! :confused2: not sure why i would ever need to stand on my stove but there, i have the option, maybe a particularly ferocious shrew! or something............

Hi There I think it looks really good and I wish I could do something like that one thought in my head is would it be possible to make one with hinges so that it folds flat a bit like Origami? Not knocking it but just a thought :)

wow, talented! Theres a lot of skill gone into designing and making that, clever idea! I'd use one of those in the garden as well as on the trail, ti's so well finished!
