Just an update on a new meths burner/stove setup.

The top and bottom of a deodorant can pressed together allied with Paul Standley's tea caddy pot kit idea. All nestles nicely in the caddy including toothpaste bottle of meths. The weak point of the setup I admit is the use of paper clip wire for potstand, and will probably replace with something a tad stouter (such as bike spoke wire). Full album on my profile page.

I have named the burner "the Norwegian blue"....beautiful plumage!!!

Nice one bigzee... the stove has a very good flame pattern and spot on for the caddy pot.

Pot stands for up-jet pressure stoves are often the most challenging when you are trying to build a set-up that stows away into a small space.

An alternative is metal coat-hanger wire which is pretty good.
