First place in the Danish national home brewing championship. Class; IPA

My brewing companion and I have just won first price in the annual Danish national home brewing championship, in class no. 6; India Pale Ale - with our classic medium bitter English style India Pale Ale Hoptimus Prime.

We have been brewing for a few years, but this is the first of our beers to be submitted to the competition.

We get an overall score of 44 out of 50. The line between "excellent" and "World class" goes at 45.

No samples so far, the first batch is almost gone - but we are planning to have another go.

i do enjoy a cold pint of carlsberg :),polish can make good ale aswell,theres a few polish shops around were i live a never ending supply of tyskie and lech.
