opinel no.8

Hey gyes im going on a camping trip in a couple weeks for a month and i was wondering weather the opinel no.8 whould be a good choice for a knife in this case just for carving and simple camping work nothing to big.

I haven't used a no.8 but I can tell you that the no.7 is a really good little knife. Opinels are a great budget knife.

Good blades, but remember that according to the law, if you get stopped and its found, you have to have a "reasonable excuse" for having it on your person, as its a locking knife.
That doesn't bother me and many other people, but its worth pointing out..

Hi Jake welcome to the forum. Have a look at the SVORD Peasant knive,it says the blade is only 3in I think it's a mutch better knife.Atb with the camping for a month,you'r a better man than me Gunger din........atb........DONT GET EATEN BY THE BEARS...........TONY
