Wonder if anyone can help me.
I want to get a wool shirt. Something like a Swandri, if I'm honest. Only I can't afford Swandri prices, so a clone/copy or something will do.
Preferably in bushcraft-friendly colours (greens, browns, that kind of thing), but whether plain or plaid, I don't care.
Ideally with a hood, ideally an over-the-head smock type. But if you know of a good one that doesn't have a hood, or has buttons or zips then I'm still all ears.
Thanks for your help.

Yup, agreed. Canadian military used to issue the Cold Weather Shirt, I have two, one is pure wool and the other is a wool blend. Basically identical in looks to the Swani, but a fraction of the price.

I highly rate the Dockers overshirt. Very good value for money. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Dockers-American-Over-Shirt-/360316526368?pt=UK_Men_s_Tops_Casual_Shirts&var=&hash=item92af590505#ht_500wt_922

Use eBay and buy old Pendletons. No hoods or pullover type smocks, just buttoned woollen plaid shirts.

Aaaaagh, sorry I've just revived a three month old thread. Stupid noob mistake. Soz.
