I've used these a couple of times this year, they are very good for tarps, especially cheap ones with no ribbon ties and just a few grommet holes.
Here's my cheap tarp (rigged as a tarp tent) with a cling-on at each end to grip it to the ridge with a prussic knot.

I use "knotted/looped" ridge line made with paracord where the knots go through an available loop in the ridgeline.

Ha! Took the words right out of my mouth. It's a "posh-crafter's" solution to the pebble knot.

I have some which I bought from Clas Olson the other day already had a try out on my trap when rigging it in a new way worked wonders they are a great bit of kit
