Found these on some rotting wood, on a recent venture into the woodland...

BE WAIR,I dont think they are roos I wouldant eat them mushroom have shorter stems.If you can peel the top bit of scin off and there black under neth thats a sign you can eat them.Ild wate for JP to get on ear he'll now,in the meen time try am and tell the wife to let us now how long you'll be lyed up for,mind you they could be the magic kind and you will be bomb out of you'r ead.Or the other way you could try on the wife first then you could tell us how she reacted, YE job done, atb..............DONT GET EATEN BY THE BEARS>>>>>>>>>>TONY

look like rooting shank, would need to see the gills to be sure tho, ive always found them growing from cut tree stumps and some grow realy big. if they are rooting shank they are edible but i cant say for sure without seeing gills. ive eaten a few rooting shank, not a favourite of mine.

I think these are Collybia butyracea. Butter Caps. Edible, but nothing to write home about.
