Hi all
I've got a few strips of leather I picked up cheap at the car boot. Most are pretty thick leather. I have a fork with sharpened prongs for marking out stitching, and I have a hole punch.
With these few basic items, can you suggest a project for this first-timer that is both reasonably simple, and yet also useful?
Thank you
Bernie

Why not make a purse or a tinder pouch?

Sorry for the late response on this (excuses / reasons omitted).
They vary a little in thickness, but are about 2~3mm thick. Kinda like a decent/heavy belt. They're all about a metre long, and not much wider than a belt some sections are maybe 12cm wide, but only for a length of about 20cm.
Is a sheath too ambitious? Is there something simpler I could start with?
