Trying to liven things up a little!

We all love our kit - here is the challenge.

Outfit a new bushcrafter as best you can for £100 all in. Assume that they have basic clothing and footwear (you know...jeans, t shirt and trainers - so improvements still count).

The mora knife is brilliant value. And I love it, it gets proper use. And the 58 pattern poncho is brilliant. I actually don't have one but its defo on my get list.

The thing I am saving for at the moment is side pouches for my bergan. It al fits in but I want a little more order to it.

Spend part of the money on books and maps plus indicate the free links on the Web. Some more on fares to whatever "wild" area are near them or they may have a bike. Really only need legal penknife. Most house can provide overnight gear "for free", fleece blanket and the like. Presumably they have a phone with camera.

Sadly it is different from when I was twelve when I bought my first hatchet from Woolworths, yet another penknife and boxes of matches.
