£4.65 with p&p 550ml stainless steel mug with metal lid
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Home-Silve...item45fc42bed6

I ordered one of these a while back and it turned up today.
The cup is definitely not 550ml as advertised more 400ml i.e. a "normal" sized tin cup whereas I was expecting a slightly oversized one.
Quality is okish , inside is a matt finish.

The lid is the most useful bit as it fits a number of other bigger containers which could be used for boiling water/cooking. The knob is plastic but fit on with a screw so you could replcace it with something a bit less combustible if needed.

If anyone is interested I can post up some pics.

The cup with a lid is a cup I bought previously which actually is 550ml. The lid is a bit loose but perfectly useable.

Looks decent, what are the spot welds on the handle like, are they secure enough?

The handle feels pretty sturdily attached, no wobble or lifting.
Pretty much the same as the bigger UK mug

The last image shows the banding inside the cup. It slightly smaller than I expected and I planned to use it as the basis for a tin cup survival kit. A bit of duck tape to attach the lid and I think would make a pretty good container. The bonus is you can actually boil a useful amount of water in this unlike the old tobacco tin. Oh yes the crusader cup holder fits nicely inside and does a reasonable job of supporting the cup. You might want to take a file to the ends so they are slightly curved like the cup.
