OK let's give it a try :)
I'm no expert at leathercrafting, so excuse the few problems that appear on the final result.
Here's my knife sheath. I made it one or two months ago. Took me about 5 or 6 hours from drawing to waxing. Another one would be much faster and I think I'll be making an new one soon to correct the imperfections on this one.

I would have been satisfied of my achievement if only one thing hadn't gone wrong. At the bottom end of the sheath, right where it's curved, I had to make a cut after stitching. As a result, this cut wasn't that proper and I had to unstitch a few thus resulting in a double stitch on two spots. If you look carefully, you'll see the problem.
Well it was my first attempt for a sheath, and it learnt me much. Eventhough it's not perfect, it's still much more beautiful than my former kydex sheath.
Next one I'll post is the quiver I made for my brother some two years ago.
Salut ;)
Edit : I'd have liked my picture to be inserted bigger in the thread but I don't know how to do this. So just click on it to get the full size ;)

That's very nice work fellows!
I had never thought of making a sheath for an Opinel. That's just a great idea!
And Steve, I do love your pouch. It seems pretty soft and I love the color of the skin.
