UK whetsones

Following on from the Wästikivi Wästilä whetstone thread. Does anyone know if you can buy UK whetstones. Does anyone still make them. Any quarries still going in England, Wales, etc.

I have a whetstone from the U.K. called a Viking Whetstone, I started a thread on it a while ago:http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?295-Viking-Whetstone&highlight=VIKING+WHETSTONE. The stone itself is very very fine and should be used as a finishing stone, mine was found in York, England. Hi Notredame 11211 them wetstones ant from york they were found in the Viking settalment they dug up in YORK.Them stones are from Kaupang in Norway.I think the only wetstone you can get in britton is slat and I think that Welsh.Well sirpose somthing got to come out of there,they let you out free.Take kair with the job mate,Atb............DONT GET EATEN BY THE BEARS.................TONY........PS or the flames.
