Here's something from the British Army website. No doubt the Crabs have something similar

The one thing that isn't mentioned is keep your sense of humour because you're going to need it. During your recruit training all your squad will be pretty much at the same level and by working together you'll get through it.
What do you hope to do after training?

Airman/airwoman 25 sit ups...it doesn't say in how long, anyway you need to build up your abs but 25 sit ups and 14 press ups shouldnt present a reasonably fit 30 year old with any problems - If its any consolation I can do 25 no dramas and Im 15 years your senior.......................
Unless of course you're wanting to be a gunner, then again I cant believe you can join up at 36 now 24 was the cut off for most trades

Everything that you did and didn't want to know about being a dog handler (http://www.arrse.co.uk/now-thats-what-i-call-arrse-1/6271-kin-ell-been-heavy-here-today-so.html)

,hopefully going in as a dog handler,
Aah the course that everyone wants.
Dog's will break your heart buddy. 32 Kgs and 42 teeth, Jaws & Paws enforcing laws. Good luck, working with dogs is much better than working with people even if 'walking the wire'
