Fantastic work Tony!! I really like that its got a real mountain man meets Saami feel to it, why dont you have a go at a fishtail sheath for it?

A lovely knife, and a quick look at your flickr page. You do like knives, and they are really nice.
I liked the mora clipper you re-handled, was that a difficult task to remove the old handle?

Hi Realeaner,No it was'ant difficult to remove the handle I just stuck it in a fire and it melted off, trubal is the tang is only about an inch & 1/2 into the handle, so you have to get a peace of steel weldead ot it then grind down the weldeso it's flush with the blade then shape the steel to the shape you want the handle to be,The thing is the MORA is not straight on bothe sides you'll have to do sum file work to get the steel to fit flush with the blade, you'll need a peace of steel about 5inch long by about one &1/2.Try it a clipper is only about atenner if you mess it up youant lost that mutch, tack you'r time dont rush it find a good welder and a cupal of small files from the bootyand you'r there, let us seeit then you'v finished it.Atb........DONT GET EATEN BY THE BEARS............TONY......PS remember you cant drill the blade so leve anuff steel around the blade to stick the brass pins throw.
