This is a video shot in 1923 for Swedish television, or at least featured there, which films several people working on different woodworking projects with simple hand operated tools.

What a great find Ash. It's always mesmerising to watch craftsmen (and women!) work with their tools. There's a certain understanding that comes from the thousands of hours they've used them that makes it seem effortless and so simple that even we could do it. But alas, our attempts are so crude and misjudged in comparison. "awe" indeed Matt.

Great video, it's always good to see traditional craftsmen/women at work. Does anyone know where clogs are available to buy today, modern versions preferably ?.

I seen a whole shop full of them whilst over in Brittany, a lovely place called Belle-isle-en-terre, you could even go in and watch the chap making them, unfortunately the shop wasn't open when I was there.

Fascinating. Its interesting to see the techniques used with the tools, health and safety wasn't high on the priorities in those days!
