Cleaning Goretex

How do you go about giving a goretex bivvy bag a bloody good clean?
Is there anything you should/shouldn't do?

As with any water proof product,
1} chuck in a washer or hand wash in the bath with natural soap flakes or a techwash
2} then rewash in waterproofer or spray on
3} tumble dry on low or in front of a hot radiator (the waterproofer needs heat to be activated)
