Just a quick post to let people know that Heinnie now stock Hultafors Axes. I have just received mine and I'm very pleased with it and they seem to be doing them cheaper than anyone else. I have also learnt an important lesson. Don't oil the wooden handle immediately before use. It was luck rather than skill that just saved my foot. Whilst on the site look at the Hultafors knives, can't believe the prices!

Which axe did you buy? Did it come with a leather axe head cover. I have been thinking about buying the Hultafors Chopping Axe.

The large Agdor Trekking Axe, which is a lot larger than I expected. The smaller one for £30.95 would probably be better for out in the field.
