Hi PaultheFish , I could be tempted by a weekend bimble but blown all my leave so a weekday trip not so easy ...
I'm near Folkestone , any thoughts on a venue ?!?!?

I can't get out overnight at the moment but a good bimble and chat with brew stops sounds good, generally any time for
me should not be a problem with notice.
As for venue? Open to suggestions.

Sorry guys forgot i started this thread! I was rather hoping someone could suggest a venue,weekends are best for me too to be honest.like the idea of a bit of a bimmble and a brew stop. I've never had a decent wlk around the new forest if that helps anyone?Dont mind a bit of drive either. Paul

Thats 2hrs drive for me? could check maps and get back to see if there is a more central wood. Unless anyone else has a suggestion :D

i would be so up for this. theres a massive common near me which is pretty good. its not much for walking but pretty good for a stealth camp.

im croydon area.

first weekend of december?

im probably going for a scout about next weekend so il go to that common and see what the vibe is. the only time iv really been there thow theres been a silly amount of dog walkers.

Sorry someone was talking about the New Forest ... sounded more like a full w/end expedition rather than a bimble and brew Ha ha ha !!!

Dont like the New Forest much ... Can't see the views for the trees !!! Ho Ho Ho !!!

I would like to keep options open at mo ... pre Xmas rush kicking off at work , lots of overtime available , but keep thread going , perhaps catch up laterz ?!?!
