I got home from work last night and found this in my kitchen. My 8 year old son had made it.

Tschk...typical kid - right next to a power point. I expect Action man needs to plug his Xbox in or something eh?

LOL. To be fair to him, he's got a Wii but hardly ever uses it plus he rarely watches tv.

Only joking. He has obviously picked up plenty of useful and practical information from you in his 8 years.

Specially for you MM. He had help from his more than eager childish father on this though. Bigzee I know you were joking and I was talking about action man lol.

Actually I'm not sure If anyone else gets this but...... When you're on ebay and looking through army surplus stuff do you find that you come across something like an entrenching shovel or a really nice looking jacket, for a really good price. Only to find when you click on the listing it's an action man sized one. :D

Hmmm ... I have the opposit problem CrazySaint ...
I'd like to try a Hammock n'Tarp but the beaches , cliff tops and hills I've been visiting just doesn't have the giant furniture or even big enough trees to hang from !!! Laffs !!!

Try building some giant furniture like the stuff in the forest of Dean...

Nice one. That's one reason why it's a good idea to have a blanket roll kit. Use the blanket like so, with a tarp of some kind over you. If you have a nice thick blanket, it can be quite warm on a spring/summer night. Might give it a go this winter to see how well it copes.
