View Full Version : A cheap hexi stove

If you want a quick five minute project you can make one of these. It's a pudding can hexamine stove.


All you need is


-An empty pudding can

- A can puncher

- And some hexamine tablets if you want to light it. :)


All you need to do is take the can and put holes with puncher around the top and bottom. And it's done, a simple yet effective design.

It's all very well puting anold tin on ear with a few holes in it ,but do;s it work

One improvement would be to put some sturdy wire across the middle so you can put smaller cups/pots on it. I mean a proper hexi stove is better, but there's worse ways to spend 5 minutes. Plus I got a brew at the end. :)
