Some lovely photos there, thanks for sharnig. I like the look of your knife in the 1st photo, lovely burl handle, is it a Tregor Woodsknife?

Also your shiny cup in the fire looks nice, I'm sure Martin will like it's shineyness but might weep at it being in the fire :p

hehe.. reminds me of a place we go camping with ancient beech woodland and a toilet on the hillside (although it dosen't look look like that one!) You take some great shots Jakob.

The knife is a Finnish handmade Eräpuu model 202; http://www.erapuu.fi/ - Eräpuu is not a very well known brand I guess, but imho. they are producing some of the best knives for the money on the present market.
The blades are carbon steel, capable of holding a wicked edge; I have had mine for six months (where it has seen use at least once a week) and so far I have only had to sharpen it once. For most models, you have the choice between curly birch or a cheaper dark stained birch handle. The scabbards are simple and functual, but solid, mine came with a few too many "drying cracks", but none that couldn't be fixed with large quantities of leather grease.
The prices are 1/2-3/4 of major brands like Brusletto, Helle, Karesuando and Marttiini - overall the Eräpuu knives are finished a tad rougher, but the functual quality is easily on par.

The cup os a Tatonka 4072 Handle Mug - a must have piece of gear. Very shiny when new - now not quite so much :D

It is indeed a toilet in the middle of the woods, that is quite common here in Denmark.

As for the Tatonka cup - I've used a Tatonka Tarp for years which I have been very impressed with, I'll take a look at the cup too.

Those toilets in the woods look damn convenient!
