Just wondering if any of ya have the same feeling like I do bout carving. Was talking to my mom bout it and she sorta asked me how I come up with a design for a spoon told her sometimes I do have an idea in my head how I want it to look but once I start to carve and chip it away the wood sorta speaks to me and reveals its soul kinda goes where it wants me to. Does anyone else feel this way? Or do ya plan it out and have a rough drawing to what it will look like?
