Hey guys, hows things?

Thought I'd post up some of the bushcraft(ish:)) knives that I've made in the past. Got into bushcraft myself through knifemaking. Sounds a bit odd I know. There's not much better ways to put a knife to good hard use in my opinion :D
Anyways, some pics!!

VERY nice work! I love the scale formed on the sides of the blade from soaking at critical longer than needed, I often do the same with the knives I make to get the same blistering of the surface scale, makes for a beautiful and original finish that's worth showing off. I need to do the same more often, the effect is almost as good as Damascus or hand forged.

I love the first knife. Looks like a Dozier/Pardue type but with a much more organic natural handle. Really beautiful blade, worthy of the artisan title. I'd say it has an almost Japanese style and quality overall.

Lovely work for all of them. I dig the wood carver but my favorite has to be the last one for the handle LOVE Celtic artwork

thanks guys :)

CanadianMike: yeah i love the rough look from the fire scale on blades too. in fact i love it so much that i try and have it on every knife i make if i can. as you say it makes for a very intersting looking finish. the next best thing to pattern welding in my opinion.

Dan XF: thanks very much for your kind words. Not sure if any of my knives deserve an artisan title yet ;), but i think i'll get there at some point. i still have lots of learning to do :)

Atta boy, knew what you were up to, I came across it accidentally early on, loved it, I should really set aside a few to do the same, but more care and attention is required when doing it. But the finish, man, one of a kind when you get it! :)
