For my birthday I received the Gransfors Bruks Wildlife Hatchet and I think its great. I asked for the hatchet because its my first axe/ hatchet so that's why I did not go for something slightly bigger. 29792978:zombie-fighting:

Likely it's to balance out the handcuff collection on the other side of the headboard. :D

Ah, ok...... when camping, what do you use the handcuffs for? I know, similar to the use of carabiners for hanging your hammock. Lol ;)

True true. Luckily they know that im responsible and trust me, and i had been using axes long before i asked for tht one.

Dad did not really mind but mum was shocked when she heard the price, she probably thought lidl axe :p

Have not needed to sharpen it yet John came sharp but is nice to use, its light weight and looks nice :)

GB makes sweet axes that come razor sharp, and are easy to bring the edge back with a few strokes of a fine file or stone. LIterally they shave hair out of the box, and the finish........... oh man, sexy!!!

Nice hatchet I only have a cheap one, it does the job though.

What a great axe, although I do not have one my self, they have such a huge following and amazing heritage, you can't go wrong.
