Thought I'd share some of my favourite online resources for all things bushcraft.
http://www.wildwoodsurvival.com/index.html - Great fire lighting section, but generally good allround.
http://www.woodcraftwanderings.org/index.html - just found this one, but seems very good so far.
http://www.ravenlore.co.uk/html/bushcraft.html - I really like this site, very inspiring images and some good hints and tips, some nice projects too.
http://www.bushcraftuk.com/forum/content.php - perhaps the biggest uk bushcraft forum, however I've linked to the home page as it has some interesting articles in the downloads section.
http://www.tothewoods.net/JeffsHikingPage.html - Excellent site on Lightweight camping, but even better for its hammock section - DIY hammock gear.
Which brings me on to http://www.hammockforums.net/? - For all enquiries relating to Hammocking/Hanging out.
http://www.jonsbushcraft.com/index.htm - Fantastic site for projects, check out the articles section for guides to kuksa carving and basket making and others.
http://www.azbushcraft.com/index.php/f - Some good videos with hints and tips on all things bushcraft.
http://zenstoves.net/ - Amazing site for all things related to camping stove mechanics and DIY Stove making.
I could go on for ages, and include some specialist sites on Bow making, Slings, Spinning thread, etc...
But these seemed the most useful ones for the basics and a little bit more.
Of course there is also this wonderful site - Natural Bushcraft started by some bloke called Ashley, whoever he is:tongue:
Please feel free to add, but try and keep them generic or good starter sites, as I said I could specialise into all sorts, but I want this thread to be helpful to all not just sling hunters or bow makers.
Supplied by Tim :- http://primitiveways.com/ - useful site, some repeated on wildwoodsurvival.com
Found this as an extension of Zen stoves - http://zenbackpacking.net/
A nice little site with some interesting tutorials - http://www.hedgehogleatherworks.com/Wilderness-Survival-Information-s/29.htm
Another good little project site - http://www.woodsmonkey.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&layout=blog&id=41&Itemid=63
After Gary mentioned it I'd thought I'd add these wild food sites too:-
