What is bushcraft to you - i one short sentence?
Learning the classic outdoor skills of my Scandinavian ancestors

Why do you practice bushcraft?
In order to be able to emerge myself into The Nature without relying on cumbersome and fragile equipment

How long have you been practicing bushcraft?
In some form; all my life. But, I have not been aware of the term bushcraft for more than a few years.

How is bushcraft implemented in other aspects of your life?
Being a medieval re-enactor, scout leader, amateur nature photographer and clerk at an outdoor store, bushcraft - and the knowledge and skills that come with it- is a big part in all major aspects of my life

Which are your three most prefered bushcraft skills?
1. Firelighting, with a Swedish firesteel or flint and steel
2. Gathering and cooking wild food
3. Basic knife work. I am not a great handicrafter, but I enjoy doing classic campcraft (with respect for the principles of LNT!)

Which three bushcraft skills are on top of your "to learn" list?
1. Hunting (I am planning to obtain a hunting license, starting january 2012)
2. Fire by friction (firebow)
3. Obtaining proper knowledge about (edible) fungi

The art of being able to emerse yourself completely in to the natural world around you :)
Why do you practice bushcraft?
To relieve myself of the complicated way of modern life :)
How long have you been practicing bushcraft?
About 2 years properly
How is bushcraft implemented in other aspects of your life?
I find it gives me a different view of life, and allows me to aproach things in different ways, dunno how to explain it tbh :)

Fire lighting - via my traditional steels and ferro rods
Carving (altho i am still an amatuer) and general camp craft
Shelter building

Fire by friction ( i have made my own set and have got a lot of smoke but not quite got fire)
Snow shelter construction
Wild food

What is bushcraft to you - i one short sentence?
Getting Outdoors and being comfortable there.
Why do you practice bushcraft?
In order to spend longer outdoors in more comfort and be closer to nature and appretiate it more.
How long have you been practicing bushcraft?
Since I was 7 or 8 years old going birdwatching with my dad
How is bushcraft implemented in other aspects of your life?
All my favourite hobbies now seem to revolve around the outdoors , nature and lately a renewed interest in photography encompassing everything!
Which are your three most prefered bushcraft skills?
Rough camping / Shelters
Leaving no trace
Nature study / appreciation

Plant / fungi identification
Tracking
Better map-reading skills and navigation

Very wary of wild foods ... so only really tried fresh caught barbequed mackerel , shrimp and wild berries , once found a Mulberry tree... Yeah TREE !!! in the grounds of an abandoned country house ... now they were niiice !!!

own frozen Chilli n'chips (corn tortilla chips) or with rice
love cholesterol feast , sausage bacon eggs etc
Simple Ploughmans ... Nice granary roll , crumbly white cheese ( don't mind Caerphilly , Cheshire , Leistershire or any fresh locally produced ) but got to be served with Crisp Green Apples
Hmmmmmmmmmmm !!!!
