With the daylight hours dwindling it's hard to get time to catch up with friends in the woods, got out for a quick brew in the woods this weekend though with Joe, Phil & kids.
Did a little bit of whittling (http://www.naturalbushcraft.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?2512-Autumn-Winter-Whittlings!&p=31994#post31994) and enjoyed the forest with the kids...
My Monkey of a Brother Joe... (who will be 11 tomorrow! :) )

When we gona make those Bullroar's then Phil?
ASAP Dude!! I never thought of making one until we chatted, I reckon they'll work too when we'm trying to find each other in the woods. They've now been bumped up to number 1 on my things to make list.... as well as feathers, more wood spirits and of course a whackload more spoons!
Anyhows, thanks for a great afternoon ( after me doing a whole mornin of human bullroarin to find ye) Didn't get much achieved apart from a brew or 2, Oh, and a few goes on the quartz and steel... another thing on my wanted list!!
Cheers
Phil
