Hi all,
As i was snowed and rained off from work today.
I thought i would make a hobo hand line ,that was inspired my another thread
that i saw about bottle top containers. Here's a few pictures.

Think i will add a lanyard of some sort.

Oh...I thought this was gonna be about an emergency phone number for the homeless.
Nice intelligently designed minimalist compact eco-friendly recycled hand-line by the way though.

I'm still puzzled as to the UK legality of these, even on private land with permission. Am I right in saying that any line cast into a river to catch fish must be supported by a rod? I've also seen the suggestion that if you use a stick to hold a hobo line it counts as a 'rod'. As an aside, I am going for a week to the Pyrenees next summer and there is a river by the side of the property and I wondered about making and taking one to save weight...how the heck do I find out if they are OK to use in France!?

I know the rules and laws are rather whacky over there, but here in Canada as long as you have a fishing licence, you can fish any style of fishing, even bow fishing, depending on the species though and for the region you are in. Odd you guys have to put up with inane stupidity from lawmakers, really baffles the brain over here.
