Hi just just joined, I work for the National Trust as a warden (or should that be ranger now?) so my hobby and my work often overlap.:happy-clapping:

Hello mate.
Yeah - Ranger sounds better...sitting on a horse, gaze set squarely on the horizon, surveying the panorama as the wind rustles your clothes. Equipment hanging off your belt - prepared for all eventualities...etc...
Warden is someone who checks in people at a student hostel / prison.

I have 'colleagues' who do a similar job to you over your way... Ellie and Jefferson ring any bells?.

I think that's why the name has been changed, still I sometimes like the idea of walking round with a big bunch of keys telling people to "GET OFF MY LAND" :guns:

Indeed it would ! A very small world indeed. It wouldnt surprise me at all if we hadn't crossed paths once or twice particularly in March when a lot of dogs come to visit ;).
I may have to pop over one day for a coffee and say hi.

You will be more than welcome, I take you have something to do with the SARDA lot then? You probably have come across my colleague Murray as well.
