So here's the situation: the local beaver population has begun flooding a stand of decent-sized birch trees. I'm going to harvest the trees
for firewood before they rot, which birches tend to do very quickly, leaving me with a lot of birchbark for the taking if only I knew
what to use it for. The only birchbark item I've ever made is a moose call, which was a pretty simple procedure. Any other ideas?

Thanks, guys. I plan to cut the trees in spring, so I can take some time and look through this stuff...
