Some may be interested in a book I was given recently..'Hedgerow Medicine' by Julie Bruton-Seal and Matthew Seal.
In addition to the book's title subject, where a plant/fruit etc: is edible it gives various recipes too and some interesting little facts...Quote " Oak twig toothbrush..Oak twigs chewed to fray the ends and used as a toothbrush contain a built-in antiseptic and have anti-inflammatory benefits"..That's news to me..:)

If you see a copy anywhere it's worth a look..:)
