Everyone here was once a novice, and some of us (me!) still are. I've found one of the best ways for me to learn is by meeting up with groups like the mad hatters from Natural Bushcraft. A great bunch of people that I sadly live too far from to meet more often. I'm in Exmouth, Devon, and happy to meet up with like-minded people whenever I can. If only I owned a woodland - I'd have sooo many friends. :)

:welcome: to the community Roy!

Well you've started in the perfect place! :)
Videos & Articles sharing knowledge and skills for free and now this!.. New community to talk and share with one another, hopefully an ever-growing, superb platform to learn from. Of course it's important to get out and try these skills in the outdoors, find other likeminded people to learn from when out and about and of course this forum can hopefully help you hook up with other people around your area or help you find Meets/Events going on.
All the best,
Hey Roy, a warm welcome to the forum.
Regards, Matt.
