View Full Version : Inside the M25 2012
with xmas out the way, im sure some of you like me are getting restless from not being out for some time.
with the end of january come the end of the shooting season and the start of the bush season for me, the farm i visit will be open for bussines and i had an idear to start with a small working party to geather some fire wood for the years visits, plus a dunny. As always the weekend will not cost anything, however to make life easy, i was going to do a group cook, so some funds will be needed. I was thinking early march for the first visit. anyone interested.

Checked out last years "inside the m 25" thread, deduced that the meetup car park is the first lay-by that you come to in the RHS - in the park next to the football pitches... (but I cant see on google maps any football pitches (http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=RM4+&hl=en&ll=51.611674,0.194321&spn=0.022812,0.066047&sll=51.609729,0.195909&sspn=0.022813,0.066047&vpsrc=6&hnear=RM4,+United+Kingdom&t=h&z=15)). Can you zoom in to the meet point on google and post / pm the link for us / me? Will you have the logo in your car window again this year?
Cheers, Mac
trust me you see us in the car park, we get lots of looks.

With regards to food, hope we can do better than a big vat of beans (blazing saddles camp comes to mind :)). How about we go full bushcraft style and bring along a rabbit - or do these come out of the box of tricks?

Guys, I stumbled across this from my local army surplus store "Classic IPk sheet.apprx 8'x4', near indestructible olive green plastic sheet, with pegs and nylon cord. (http://www.ew-trading.com/shop/bushcraft-survival-shelter-c-70_71/ipk-p-328)", only £4 - its a done deal and must have in the kit. Trouble is, the minimum order is for 4 and I only want 1, does anyone else want one thats coming along to the next "Inside the M25" meetup? If so I can take your orders and bring them along with me to dish out? Interested (£4) ?
