No kidding, that hat was awesome! I still wear it for now, but the fake fur is all crusty on the inside flap and the big holes in the rear. Needed vents anyways, too hot at times. Have to shop for a new one later today.....

For those that don't know, my secondary propane torch fell off the bench a couple times, I did notice there wasn't any more flame from it inside the forge, so when it fell off again I shook it, then not seeing any flame coming out of it, held it near my ear to listen for gas. Heard it coming out, so put it back to the forge. About 30 seconds later I felt a hot spot on the side of my head, took my hat off to see why, all I saw were flames coming off the hat so I blew it out. Lol

Lol, no, but would be funny to watch me sitting there focusing on moving the blade in and out and getting an even heat with my hat on fire....

Lol, funny thing is, I'm not, I have a very long fuse....... unless things build up over time.

Anyways, bought myself a new non-burnt roadkill hat, almost identical, and only $28.99, so I'm a happy winter camper now.
