35013502350335043505 Here's my latest staff and as the title says it's made from a nice piece of ash with a honeysuckle twist and fallow deer antler. The antler inlays are carved with the points from a viking compass and the writing (which follows the twist, nice touch i think) is in a version of the futhark (viking alphabet) and when translated reads " all walking is discovery on foot we take time to see things whole". So far it has had two different coloured stains applied and one coat of clear matt varnish. Another coat, maybe two, of varnish and then a brass ferrule fitted and it's ready to go. Hope you like it.

Ha ha. I thought from the thread title that Ashley would be modeling the staff. :)
