That looks good. I still believe if you eat meat you should be willing to go out there and get it yourself. I admire you for doing that. I was at Longleat with my daughter and she asked if I could quickly kill one of the deer so we could take it home as a treat for the huskies. I had to explain that Lord Bath might not be too happy with us doing that but at least she knows where the meat comes from. Not enough people make that connection with the animal in the field and the product on the shelf.

thank you all!
jus young; i make a paste from finely chopped sage and mix it with honey, ground cashew and olive oil and rubit inot the pigeon. best way i have found yet of cooking them, never gone back
dan; part of the reason i took up hunting is because i was no longer happy with the quality and wealfare of meat i was buying. this way i know exactly where my meat comes fom and know it was killed with minimum suffering. i also hunt becasue i love being out in the countryside, on the hunting trip where i got those pigeons i saw in total; a perching sparrowhawk, 2 species of woodpecker, jays, fox, badger, numerous songbirds, and a lone buzzard. just from sitting still in the countryside.

Nice bag. Think it's time I invest in another rifle. Nothing like killing and cooking your grub.
