Restoring a bunch of knives

I have managed to gather quite a few knives lately, both old and new.
Time has been limited lately though - but, today I finally found the time to bring out my tools, linseed oil, leather grease and autosol. I brewed a strong pot of imperial Earl Grey, tuned onto my favourite jazz station and started working.

The first photo shows the knives, laid out before I started working on them. Most of the knives are Scandinavian; a few antique/vintage Moras. Some simply needed a light buffing and a spot of linseed oil and leather grease - others has undergone thorough cleaning, polishing and sharpening as well. A few will need new sheaths.

The second photo shows the knives and sheaths after their first coat of linseed oil and leather grease. They are starting to look the part :)

To be fair; about 50% of my knives are vintage/antique knives, bought online, at fleamarkets and in antique stoes (a few of them are gifts from satisfied customers), 10% are custom made, 15% are bought new from other sources and 25% are bought through the store :)

So it's no longer safe to say "These are all the knives that I remember that I own...." which is fair enough, I buy various little cutting tools, as well as the ones I have at work, easy enough to forget the lesser user ones.

Three classic Scandinavians:

Swedish Mora Classic Original Nr 2 and Mora 137 - as well as a Norwegian Knivsked Strømeng STAK.

Ironically, it was easier to find the Strømeng here in Denmark, though it is a very small factory - and not very well known outside of Norway (it is perhaps the oldest still existing knife proucing company in Scandinavia). The Moras had to be custom ordered through Mora's danish wholesaler.
