My spoon

Finally decided to finish this one I had started for me what seems ages ago now. made from maple I had put it off till today cause wasn't sure on the shape of the handle will be my coffee/tea stirring spoon

BB ave you tyed takeing out the spoon shape with you'r crook knife first befor doing the rest of the spoon.............only asking...thats wot I do then cut out the rest of the spoon.Hope I'm not trying to teach you'r grainmar to suck eggs:happy-clapping:

Yep at times I do use it to carve the bowl up first depends on my mood really LOL lot of times though I like to work up the handle shape first and the outer bowl now that I am getting better with my axe work
