Iisakki Järvenpää, the maker of the iconographic Finnish horsehead knives, is one of my favourite knife makers; http://www.iisakkijarvenpaa.fi/

From top down:
1. 1950s stacked birch bark/brass handle horsehead knife. Carbon blade, lenght; 19,5 cm. Old type full leather scabbard - saved from a guy who used the knife to pick weeds in his garden!
2. 1960s bakelite/brass handle horsehead knife w. Finlands national crest on the handle. Stainless blade, lenght; 15 cm. "Modern" brass fitted scabbard - this is more or less how the knives and scabbards made today look, except from the bakelite handle
3. 1950-60s stacked birch/brass handle traditional puukko w. Finlands national crest on the handle. Carbon blade, lenght; 9,5 cm. Simple (possible not original) leather scabbard - possibly a souvenir type knife, but the blade is still the usual good quality

Regards.
